Young scientists and their MP enjoy event

PUPILS who enjoyed a practical science and technology day were joined by Vale of Glamorgan MP, John Smith.

He spent a day at Llantwit Major Comprehensive School for the event organised by energy company npower, aimed at showing young people what working in science, and engineering is really like.

Mr Smith said: “Young people learned more from scientists and engineers about exciting career opportunities.”
