Welsh musicians to get overseas airing

EIGHT Welsh music companies will travel to France this week to showcase their talent at the Midem music trade fair.

Cardiff-based record label My Kung Fu will be showing solo work by ex-Catatonia singer Cerys Matthews and Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci’s Richard James in Cannes in the hope of striking record deals abroad.

Carl Morris, of My Kung Fu, said: “It’s the definitive place to do business with partners from around the world.”
