Thirteen young deaths

Dale Crole, 18, of Porthcawl, was found hanged in a disused warehouse in January last year.

David Dilling, 19, of Pyle, was found hanged from a tree in February.

The body of Ian Harvey, 36, of Pyle, was pulled out of a river in March after going missing. Although he was depressed, an inquest recorded an open verdict.

Christopher Phillips, 25, of Llanharan, was found dead in his bedroom by his mother in April. It is not known how he died, but his family believe he may have taken his own life.

James Knight, 26, of Cefn Cribwr, hanged himself after a party in May.

Zachery Barnes, 17, of Wildmill, was discovered hanged on a washing line in August.

Jason Williams, 21, of North Cornelly, was found hanged by his fiancee just months before he was due to marry.

Andrew Lloyd O’Neill, 20, of Nantymoel, was discovered hanged by his mother in September.

Luke Goodridge, 20, of Bridgend, was discovered hanged by his mother in November.

Liam Clarke, of Cefn Glas, was found hanged in a park in December 2007.

Gareth Morgan, 27, of Bridgend, was discovered by family hanged at his home in Hernston Lane, Bridgend.

Thomas Davies, 20, of Cornelly, was found hanged from a tree this month.

Natasha Randall, 17, of Blaengarw, was found hanged last week.
