£500 for Sapphire

A GROUP which helps the homeless and underprivileged has been given a donation of £500.
Sapphire House – Housing Support and Education, based in Newport Road, Cardiff, received the money from the Co-operative’s Community Fund.
It will be spent on equipment for a new project to convert a garage into a gym.
Manager Kauser Chaudry said: “By developing our housing, educational and recreational services, we will help many people integrate back into the community.”
