Green ambition

EVERY school in one South Wales county has signed up to an initiative to prove their green credentials.

The schools in Caerphilly county are registered as eco schools and are working towards either their bronze, silver or green flag awards.

The scheme encourages schools to look at issues such as litter, minimising waste, healthy living, transport, energy and water efficiency.
