Assembly loan will aid animation talent

A NEW funding deal will help unleash the talent of digital animators in Wales.

The National Assembly has provided a £500,000 loan to the University of Glamorgan’s Render Farm facility which helps create animated cartoons.

Deputy First Minister and minister for economy and transport Ieuan Wyn Jones said: “This school has industry standard technology that is central to computer animation and this new funding will mean this essential equipment will be used to its full potential.”
