A Grand day out for rugby trophies at school

PUPILS from Dyffryn Lower School were lucky enough to have a glimpse of the Six Nations Cup and the Triple Crown trophy won by the Wales rugby team.

A member of the Welsh Rugby Union presented the trophies to the school in Talcennau Road, Port Talbot, on Tuesday, May 6, before heading off to show them to pupils at Dwr-Y-Felin School in Neath.

School secretary Paula Durnell said: “It was a great opportunity for the children to see the trophies – they were all so excited to see them.”
