Man arrested after crash

A CAR was demolished when it collided with railings outside the Ogmore Junction pub in Blackmill.
Smokers outside the pub watched helplessly as the car came off the road at about 7pm on Sunday.
Police and ambulance were called to the scene, but the driver and passenger escaped with minor injuries.
Ron Phillips was having a birthday drink inside the pub when the accident happened.
“It was fortunate the car hit the railings,” he said.
“I heard a crash. I think the railings saved the day.”
A 20-year-old man was arrested and released on police bail pending further inquiries following the crash.
