Club break-in

THIEVES broke into Maesteg Harlequins rugby club and stole a bottle of whisky and two charity collection boxes.
The break-in happened at the club in Talbot Street, Maesteg, between 11.30pm last Wednesday and 7.13pm last Thursday.
The culprits smashed a side window to get into the club, where they stole a large bottle of whisky, a cash register, which was found nearby, and a Sooty and a Samaritans collection box.
They also damaged a pool table by trying to break into its money counter.
