HAVE older people in Ogmore-by-Sea forgotten what it’s like to be young?
We are long-term residents of Ogmore-by-Sea and feel lucky to be able to live in such a beautiful place.
I think it would be only a minor inconvenience to share this beautiful coastline with some good meaning youngsters who want to benefit those who are not quite so lucky.
Les Walters talks of more “people-friendly” ways of raising money (Gazette, April 10). He has been the chairman of our village hall committee for 20 years now and we still don’t have a village hall.
Mr Walters also used to run a nightclub and then a pub in our village.
I’m sure he could manage just one weekend of the youngsters enjoying their music for such a worthy cause!
