Don’t desecrate our capital’s historic castle grounds

I AND many other people I have spoken with think that it would be desecration to begin making roads through Cardiff Castle’s grounds, for whatever reason. Read

WHEN I went to vote at the Howardian Centre on Thursday, May 1, I noticed an empty building next to the car park.

I wonder if this could be used to house Chris Plaister’s cinema museum, which is looking for a home. Alternatively, it could be housed in Llandaff/Insole Court or a school in Cardiff which has empty classrooms, due to falling pupil numbers. The women’s cafe bar at the WWII museum at Pill in Newport is also looking for a new home. Read

Billy Raybould example shows football’s loss was rugby’s gain

I WOULD agree with Nick Taylor (Viewpoints, April 26) that there could have been many budding future Cardiff football stars in the 1950s who passed the 11+ and were then lost to the round ball game because of their grammar schools’ policy of rugby only. Read
