£250k nurse boost

THE life of hospital nurses in Cardiff is to be made easier by the introduction of new hoists and equipment costing £250,000.
The grant from the Welsh Assembly Government will be used to replace out-dated equipment and means that only one nurse – instead of two – will be needed to help disabled patients get out of bed or into a bath.
