Wildlife conservation day

DO your bit for the environment, including footpath clearance, at a wildlife conservation day.

Cardiff Conservation Volunteers (CCV) are inviting the public – who should bring tough footwear, waterproofs, warm clothes and lunch – to join them at The Brynna on Sunday.

Meet on the National Museum steps, Cardiff, at 9am or at Forest Farm, in Radyr, Cardiff, at 9.30am. Call Ian on 029 2048 7401 or 07709 814 253 by Friday.

AN environmental family fun day is planned on March 29, between 10am and 3pm, by Evanstown Voluntary Organisation.

They will be asking people what improvements they would like to see in their community and recruiting helpers for the event at Evanstown Community Centre. Activities will include an area clean-up, face painting and bird-box making.
