CARDIFF City mascot Bartley gave youngsters at a city primary school a football masterclass and a lesson on beating the bullies.
The pupils from Stacey Primary in Adamsdown, Cardiff, were treated to a visit from Bartley and members of Cardiff City’s football club’s coaching team.
At a special assembly Bartley told pupils that he did not support bullying and said if they were victims of bullying they should tell an adult.
Youngsters from the reception class then got the chance to put their football skills to the test in a masterclass led by Bartley and the coaching team.
Teacher Michelle Marshall, who organised the visit, said: “The children were really excited and thoroughly enjoyed the chance to show their football skills to Bartley.
“We are very grateful to Cardiff City’s coaching staff and to Bartley for taking time out to visit us.”
