Soil to be replaced

TOP soil close to houses that were flooded last summer is to be reinstated.

Welsh Water is to carry out the work at Redberth Close, Barry, where houses were damaged when flood water cascaded over nearby land and into the properties.

A spokeswoman for Welsh Water said the work to reinstate top soil was part of a previous capital investment scheme unrelated to flooding in the area.
