Food catches fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a flat in the early hours today after a man fell asleep while cooking a meal.

The flat in Holton Road, Barry, was smoke damaged. The man, in his 40s, was uninjured. He fell asleep leaving food cooking in the oven. The food was so badly burnt that firefighters could not identify it.
