Police warning over unlicensed salesmen

POLICE in the Vale have warned residents to be on the lookout for unlicensed salesman in the area.
A police spokesman said: “People should remain cautious about any door-to-door salespeople calling at houses offering to sell small household items such as cleaning goods such as chamois leather cloths and dusters.”
The warning follows a spate of incidents involving men who describe themselves as ex-offenders and offer products for sale.
