Assault leaves man badly hurt

A MAN was left unconscious after being seriously assaulted at a pub.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident which happed in the Buccaneer pub, in Holton Road, Barry, just after 8pm on February 10.
The 27-year-old man was left unconscious and suffered injuries to his head and an ankle. He was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to contact Barry police 01446 734451 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
