Thief helps himself at Amusement arcade

POLICE are hunting a man who stole a large amount of cash from an amusement arcade in Penarth.

The man snatched a bag containing the cash float from the Smiley’s amusement arcade at 1.50pm on February 13.

The man is described as white, 6ft 2ins tall with short, scruffy black hair, thinning at the front. He is of medium build and was wearing a short black leather jacket, a red T-shirt or rugby shirt and blue jeans. It is believed he was wearing white trainers

After the theft he made his way into the Hyper Value store, in Stanwell Road. He was last seen running through the park towards the beach.
