Talks to save site

A TOP-LEVEL meeting was being held today in the latest bid to save Barry’s only cinema from closure.
The 100-year-old Theatre Royal Cinema in Broad Street, Barry, is set to close on April 10.
As a petition against the closure tops 3,000 names, Jane Hutt, AM for the Vale of Glamorgan, was today due to meet Coun Margaret Alexander, leader of the Vale council, and Coun Theo Stenstrom, leader of Barry Town Council, to discuss their next move.
