BUSINESS leaders are to meet to discuss how to tackle terrorism.
The meeting has been organised by Vale of Glamorgan police as part of a continuing programme of keeping businesses aware of the potential threat of terrorism.
The special counter-terrorism seminar in Penarth is open to businesses from across the county.
Supt Dave Dando, commander of Vale police, said: “While there is no specific threat to the Vale, terrorist attacks in the UK are a real and serious danger. The seminar is designed to make the business community think about their plans for dealing with a major incident.”
The seminar will be held at the Paget Rooms on April 8, starting at 7pm. Anyone who wants to attend should contact PCSO Harris on 07970 736 885.
