New arson attack

FIREFIGHTERS have called for the urgent demolition of a disused building on Barry Dock following the latest arson attack on the premises early today.

Fire crews were called to the old tank wash building, near the Clive Road steps, at 2am.

A fire service spokesman said: “This is just the latest in a series of suspicious fires at this building. The sooner it is demolished the better.”
