LABOUR politicians have been accused of “hypocrisy and opportunism” following news that Barry High Street and Splott Road post offices have been saved from closure.
Andrew Davies, Welsh Conservative AM for South Wales Central said: “It is a bit rich for Labour politicians to try to claim they helped save their local post office, when it is the Labour Government in Westminster instigating the closure programme.”
The closure of 29 post office branches in South Wales was confirmed this week.
