AN internationally renowned music festival has been boosted by a £10,000 grant from the Vale of Glamorgan Council.
Each September, the Vale of Glamorgan Festival brings together world class performers to play the music of living composers in venues across the Vale.
The grant will support this year's event between September 9 and 13.
The festival will focus on Polish music, in particular the internationally renowned Henryk Gorecki.
The festival was formed in 1969 by its present artistic director, John Metcalf.
