Watch the birdies to help society’s big garden survey

HOUSEHOLDERS in Barry have been urged to take part in the Big Garden Birdwatch, organised by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.

Last year, more than 400,000 people took part in the event between January 26 and 27, counting the birds in their garden for an hour.

Together they spotted six million birds across 236,000 gardens in Britain.

Barry councillor Rob Curtis said: “You really do not need to be an expert to take part.”
