£3m benefits drive

RESIDENTS on low income in one South Wales county could benefit from £3m Welsh Assembly Government funding, according to local AM Jeff Cuthbert.

The funding – available over the next three years – is aimed at extending schemes in Caerphilly to improve the take-up of council tax benefit.
