Staff are honoured

SCHOOL kitchen staff have been honoured with an award in tribute to a former catering worker.
Staff at Heolddu Comprehensive School, Bargoed, earned the Dave Joseph Memorial Cup after improving their performance.
Workers include: Cook in charge Jill Jones, Kim Pritchard, Sue Stevens, Mary Jenkins, Diane Kedward, Sian Bill, Lisa Willey, Andrea Jones, Pat Butts and Pat Bettany.
The cup remembers Dave Jones, 33, who worked for Caerphilly council’s catering department. He died of a heart attack.
