TRAFFIC had to be diverted around Caerphilly town centre after an elderly driver is thought to have collapsed at the wheel of his car which then hit a wall.
The accident, near the Visitor Centre, caused a tailback while emergency services dealt with the incident and vehicles were diverted around East View.
The man was taken by ambulance to hospital. There is no information on his condition.
