REPORTED incidents of anti-social behaviour in Tredegar have fallen by 94 per cent following the introduction of a dispersal order.
During the first six months of 2007, 191 incidents were reported to police, while only 11 incidents were reported during the second half of the year.
The dispersal notice was put in place in July 2007 and allows officers to break up groups of two or more people if they have grounds to do so, such as drinking in public.
Officers dispersed 14 people since the initiative started.
