A YOUNG Cardiff City fan is to make his TV debut today after winning the chance to quiz the Bluebirds at a pre-Wembley press conference this week.

Ysgol Mynydd Bychan pupil Alex Warren is heading to the big game – but as he travels to London, his interviews will be screened on the BBC’s Sportsround at 11.45am.
He grilled Steve Thompson, Riccy Scimeca and Peter Whittingham, and met manager Dave Jones, captain Steve McPhail and goalkeeper Peter Enckelman at the Vale Hotel.
Alex, who was chosen from hundreds of schoolchildren to contribute to the BBC’s match build-up this morning, said: “It was fantastic to meet and interview the players at the press conference.
“I can’t wait to see myself on TV but we’ll be on our way to Wembley so we’ll have to record it and wait until we get home to see it.”
