EXCITED Cardiff City fans are using the internet to discuss their plans for the weekend and keep in touch with the latest cup news from Ninian Park.

We’re the famous Cardiff City and we’re going to Wembley!” which has 1,292 members, “We’re the famous Cardiff City and we’re off to Wembley”, which has 198 members and 50 members have joined the group Cardiff City Can Win The FA Cup, where fans have discussed everything from how they are getting to the game to who should make the stadium announcements.

ANYONE still fighting desperately for a ticket for the big game may have one last chance to get in.

The Wembley Stadium website is still advertising for event day staff as stewards, tour guides and caterers and applications are currently being considered.

FOOTBALL freestyler Ash Randell has been shunned by Wembley Stadium but has vowed to perform his tricks tomorrow anyway.

The skills sensation from Caerau, Cardiff, performed his soccer tricks at Ninian Park before the game with Bristol City last month and was hoping to get the green light to perform at Wembley on Sunday.

But after getting the bad news he won’t, he said: “I will take my ball along anyway and do some tricks for the fans in my City shirt. It should be a great atmosphere.”

A GENEROUS employer gave four lucky workers a chance to watch the semi final after they donated to a charity.

After more than 700 call centre employees at Conduit, based in Hodge House Cardiff, made donations to the Marie Curie hospice, four fundraisers were drawn out of a hat and given a pair of tickets each.

Helen Dowson, of Conduit, said: “The biggest buzz in the call centre this week hasn’t been the phones but talk of the semi-final.

“We wanted to be able to help out a local charity while giving staff the opportunity to go to the game.”

Store manager Mike Pengelly said: “We are all massive City fans and we already have loads of posters up, but we thought it would be nice to let our customers know that this game is happening on Sunday.

“It has been a lot of fun and it has really brightened the place up.”
