TREBLE-CHASING Llanelli are hoping to add more silverware to the Stebonheath Park trophy cabinet when they take on Rhyl tomorrow in the Welsh Premier League Cup final at Latham Park, Newtown.
But they’ll have to overcome Rhyl’s considerable experience of finals, with the North Wales outfit having appeared in the League Cup final on five occasions in six years.
And Rhyl will be determined to win this one after losing the last two.
Llanelli boss Peter Nicholas will be hoping there’ll be no repeat of last Saturday’s result against another of Welsh football’s big guns, TNS.
The Reds crashed 3-0 to the dethroned champions, with not even goal ace Rhys Griffiths able to stem the tide.
Kick off tomorrow is at 2.30pm.
Meanwhile, Rhyl reserves play their final game of the season at Llandudno Junction today.
A win for Jon Stazicker’s squad will see them finish third in the Welsh Alliance.
