“I THOUGHT it was a decent game with a lot of chances created, but numerically we had a lot more chances than Cardiff.
I think they probably had the best chance of the night, but we’ll certainly take that.
We came to get three points and ultimately we had the overall balance and deserved to win in my view, but we’ll take 0-0 and move on.
Our goalkeeper wasn’t tested too greatly and defensively the team in front of him worked very hard.
Ultimately we are disappointed we didn’t win the match, we had more opportunities and right at the death we had a free header in the six-yard box, a great chance.
I thought there were spells tonight where only one team was going to win this game, but we didn’t quite manage to get the ball in the net.
We were the team driving the game for the majority of it.
But we’re very respectful of Cardiff, they’re very good footballers.
They’re as good a football team as any in the league so we’re pleased to have restricted them to so few opportunities on their own ground.
If you were a betting man, after 12 goals in two games, it was a ‘stick-on’ 0-0.”
