Ledley misses City’s trip to Palace

JOE Ledley is out of the Cardiff City team for tonight’s Championship match at Crystal Palace.

It was hoped Ledley would be fit enough to take some part in the game at Selhurst Park, but his hamstring, damaged during the goalless draw at Coventry City three weeks ago, is still sore.

He is staying in South Wales and will continue training with the aim of being included in the Bluebirds squad for Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final at Middlesbrough.

The decision to withdraw Ledley from the squad was taken just before City left for London and an overnight stop yesterday afternoon.

CARDIFF City’s trip to Ipswich Town has been re-arranged for Wednesday, April 9 (7.45pm).

The Championship match was postponed because of Cardiff’s FA Cup quarter-final at Middlesbrough this Sunday.

The kick-off time for City’s match at Wolves on Sunday, April 6 has been moved forward an hour to 1pm.

CARDIFF City will play Cwmbran Celtic in the Welsh Youth Cup semi-finals. The tie will be at a neutral venue on Sunday, March 30. The other semi-final features Swansea City v Chirk AAA.
