FORMER Fame Academy star James Fox is coming in for some competition after creating Cardiff City's FA Cup final song.
A series of unofficial songs have been recorded by fans who are keen to get their own final songs heard, as cup fever kicks in.
Some have been recorded with fans around the city while others show clips of some of the best FA Cup goals scored by the Bluebirds. One is even a tribute to outspoken former Swansea City star Leighton James, who said he wanted Barnsley to beat Cardiff in the semi-final.
Also members of Cardiff band Helen Love and the Super Furry Animals have joined together to create the Cardiff City Superstars Wembley Mix 2008, which is proving popular among fans.
The official song, called Bluebirds Flying High has now been recorded and is available online for pre-sale from HMV.com.
The club have confirmed several players will appear at HMV in Queen Street between 2pm and 4pm on Monday to sign copies of the single on the day of its official release.
