Newsletter No.76

November, 25th 2007

by Mike Caluan

Welcome to this month's edition of the expats newsletter.

I’d like to begin by thanking all the expats who’ve taken the time to send in their thoughts on our new-look icWales. We are pleased to say the redesign has been hailed as a great success. You particularly liked the interactive content and functionality of the new design - with the pictures and videos section coming highest on most people's list.

Don’t forget you can upload your pictures and videos of your events, festivals and experiences of life as a Welsh expat to icWales.

There are also the already well established forum and blog channels where you get to have your say and let us know what you think of the all new icWales.

So without futher adieu here’s this month’s offering…

Deri Broncos celebrate fifty golden years, experts study links between Ireland and Wales, and Newport aims to be a plastic bag free zone.

Also: How a young entrepreneur continues family brewing tradition, pubs beer sales the lowest since the1930s and councillors overwhelmingly support the new Llanelli rugby stadium.

For all the latest news views and match reports from Cardiff City log onto FootballNation - the one-stop shop for all your Welsh football needs, but for all your Australian-angled Bluebirds' news check out Bluebird's Down Under (BDU). Talking of excellent expats' organisations, the ever industrious Chicago Tafia's newsletter is now online.

So until next month take care and enjoy the newsletter.

Don't forget to check out the Expats Changing Wales and Expats Nostalgia sections for regular updates on what's going on.

Keep those articles and stories coming in, let me know what you're getting up to over the festive season, where you'll be spending it? You can send them to me at mike.caluan@wme.co.uk
