Welcome to this months edition of the expats newsletter.
So the hot weather has finally arrived here in the capital! Weathermen are promising that this will be the hottest day of the year so far - that wouldn't be difficult mind. Spring has been slow to get going, with temperatures over the past few months not really breaking any records in the twilight of a cold, damp winter.
It is with selfish reasons that I have my eye on our ever-changing costal climate, I have recently indulged in what some would call a big boy's toy.
Iundefinedm currently enjoying the splendour and transport benefits of being the proud owner of a 1961 series 2 Lambretta. How much fun can an old Mod have! Weaving my way to work through the onslaught of the rush hour has become a joy.
While the sun is smiling and the two-stroke is flowing, I can be found running through the veins of the cityundefineds streets - punctuated by the odd pit-stop at the friendly café Bravo. Ah, the dolce vita . . .
So, without further ado here's the latest news from in and around your old backyard.
This month: the amazing tale of the rise to fame of Walesundefined first Hollywood star, Sir Tom tops the Welsh celebrity rich list and on the sporting front - how the Ashes Test could be the biggest money-spinning event to come to Wales.
Also, the search is on for the undefinedwonders of Walesundefined- the votes are coming in thick and fast. Get your votes in for such landmarks as the smallest house in the UK, the Pentre Ifan burial stones near Nevern, Fishguard and the slate landscape of Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Finally, the Western Mail and South Wales Echo goes global with its e-edition.
And don't forget - for all the latest global news and events check out Carwyn Edward's list.
So until next month take care, enjoy the expats newsletter.
Don't forget to check out the Expats Changing Wales and Expats Nostalgia sections for regular updates on what's going on.
