Welcome to the April edition of the expats newsletter.
Firstly, some exciting news. From next month the expats newsletter will be moving its time slot? Starting from May our aim is to get our regular missives out to you on the 1st of each and every month.
And given that the expats newsletter is four years-old this month, we benevolent sorts here at icWales thought we'd give you a taster of what's to come by giving your monthly mailout a bit of a tweak!
This month we have expanded the newsletter with content which we hope will be more personal and relative to you. Hope you like the results. Let us know what you think?
So without further ado here's the latest news from in and around your old backyard.
This month: How David Lloyd George is still shaping our future, Cardiff International Airport is set to get a £7m makeover, bulldozers have moved in to demolish a 120-year-old city landmark and how a new government bill could leave the Welsh language damaged.
We tell the truth about Welsh surnames, a new Milford Haven natural gas project could get the go ahead based on an error and Tenby bids £25m for an island attraction.
Also, a startling sheet of ornate love poetry written by a Welsh emigrant more than 200 years ago has been uncovered at an American museum and we uncover how the climate change is affecting Welsh gardens.
Finally, for all you Welsh sports fans: 'The Six Nations 2006 - the tournament in pictures' and 'The race for the finishing line for Welsh soccer clubs'.
And don't forget - for all the latest global news and events check out Carwyn Edwards's list.
So until next month take care, enjoy the expats newsletter.
Don't forget to check out the Expats Changing Wales and Expats Nostalgia sections for regular updates on what's going on.
Keep those articles and stories coming in, let me know what you've been getting up to. You can send them to me at mike.caluan@wme.co.uk
