January 29th 2006

Welcome to the New Year edition of the expats newsletter...
January has began with a flurry of emails landing in my bulging 'expats inbox'. It's always great to hear what shenanigans you lucky foreign correspondents have been getting up to! But more about that later.
As Grand Slam fever takes its grip on our proud nation once again, we take a look at what's in store for our boys on Rugbynation. Where will you be watching the games? Drop me a line and let the expats community share in your fun!
Can our heroes do it again? We'll it would seem that there is no outright favourite to take the title this time. We're all up for it here. . . so come on Wales!
Anyway, without further ado here's the latest news from in and around your old backyard.
This month: Amidst all the Six Nations fever, Alex Meredith writes from Russia with rugby, expat Andrew tells us of his fantastic New Years Eve in Manila and Harry's tracked down the old gang.
Also, Tom Jones admits he's 'humbled' by his knighthood, a Welsh town's Bob Dylan link lures tourists and Wales challenges Da Vinci Code's claim of The Holy Grail's resting place.
Finally, find out what our expats in the USA are getting up to in 2006.
So until next month take care and enjoy the expats newsletter.
Don't forget to check out the Expats Changing Wales and Expats Nostalgia sections for regular updates on what's going on.
Keep those articles and stories coming in, let me know what you've been getting up to. You can send them to me at mike.caluan@wme.co.uk
