Your Newsletter: Issue 1

Jul 19 2001 By Andy Sambidge

Welcome to our first Ex-Pats Newsletter.

Obviously we are still in our early stages of development but hope you enjoy the first few articles, including the start of regular features on famous Welsh Ex-Pats and profiles of club members.

We want future issues to be full of your news and so we're using this issue to encourage you to write about your lives abroad, send photographs and share memories of your time in Wales.

Already, more than 140 of you have registered and you can find details by clicking on our interactive map on the Ex-Pats home page. If your details are incorrect or you want to add more to your page, then please don't hesitate to contact expats@icwales.net with your changes.

This is your Newsletter and we want to fill it with news of what our members are doing all over the world. So if you've got anything special planned, let us know.

But by the same token we want to hear about your day-to-day life too. The contrasts of life in, for example, Bangkok and Oslo are of interest to us all. Maybe you're a member of a Welsh Society. Let us know what's on your social calendar.

Finally, if you're making contact with fellow club members, let us know how you're getting on and whether you've found old friends - after all that's one of the main reasons for the club.
