Welcome to newsletter No 8

Mar 19 2002 By Sharon Cooper

Welcome to the eighth issue of the Expats Club Newsletter.

Thank you to those members who have contributed this month. Melanie Grassby, who's recently moved to New Zealand, tells us how she's adapting to her new home; Ash Longman tells us about his father, a Welsh coach for an Australian rugby team and David Evans tells us about the St David's Day celebrations on the Gold Coast.

Have you recently moved to a new country?  Tell us how you're adapting, what are the differences between your new home and Wales?  Email your story to expats@icwales.net.

Also in this month's newsletter, the President of the United States sends a St David's Day message to the Welsh people; expat Mark Hissey, living in New York, urges Wales to "sell" itself to the USA and read about how the daffodil is losing out to rarer flowers on Welsh county emblems.

We've received lots of stories recently from the USA, Australia and New Zealand so while we'd still like to hear from expats in these countries we would also welcome news and stories from expats in other parts of the world.  So if you live in Africa, Asia, the Middle East or South America, send us your stories at expats@icwales.net.

For now enjoy the March issue of the Expats Club Newsletter ...
