Welcome to the seventh issue of the Expats Club Newsletter.
Thank you to those members who have contributed this month. Gordon Fews, lately of North East Lincolnshire, England, tells us of his memories of living in Tynewydd, Rhondda Cynon Taff, and Gareth and Eleanor tell us about life in New Zealand.
Some Expats have also told us of the lengths they go to to cheer on Wales in the Six Nations. Whether it is making a 7,000 mile round trip from Dallas or watching it live in the early hours of the morning in New Zealand. Where do you watch the Six Nations in your country? What obstacles do you have to deal with? Let us know - expats@icwales.net
Another big sporting event, of course, is the Winter Olympics but did you know that Salt Lake City has Welsh connections? Read all about them in the article US city with a pinch of Wales. Are there Welsh links where you're living at the moment? If the answer is yes then email us with the story - expats@icwales.net.
David Evans tells us of a gathering of the Welsh on the Gold Coast for a sing-song to celebrate St David's Day in Australia. How will you celebrate the national day of Wales where you are? Send in your stories and photos to expats@icwales.net to tell us how the celebrations went and we'll include them in our next newsletter - out in March. Don't forget to send St David's Day e-cards to your relatives, friends and loved ones.
For now enjoy the February issue of the Expats Club Newsletter ...
