AFFORDABLE housing developer and regeneration specialist Lovell has won a leading safety award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)

The company, which has offices in Gwaelod-y-Garth, Cardiff, has won the Gold RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Award for maintaining high standards of health and safety management at its construction sites and offices across South Wales.

The RoSPA awards are presented to companies which demonstrate they have effective health and safety management systems in place and are focused on achieving high performance standards.

Lovell regional director Nick Kurobasa said: “The award recognises the hard work of our health, safety and environmental manager Tom Davies and the support of our staff and subcontractor partners in ensuring that we maintain consistently high standards of health and safety.”
