Engineering site in test facilities expansion

LLANELLI’S Technium Performance Engineering site has been improved with the addition of on-site workshop units.

The units will enable technology businesses to undertake crucial product development and test work alongside their existing office operations.

Six units, each offering 100sq m of flexible manufacturing or engineering space are currently under construction on the 18-acre Technium Performance Engineering site at Llanelli Gate, with the aim of supporting businesses in the performance engineering sector.

Technium Performance Engineering manager Andrew Phelps said: “Businesses need flexible office and workshop space and Technium Performance Engineering is geared to meet these needs.”

The test facilities are due to be completed by late summer.
